East Stadium and Pinnacle Bank Arena construction updates

That's really exciting! Thanks for the pics Knapp. Out of curiosity, what do they pan on doing with the Devaney Center?

It's been a long time since I was back in Lincoln. Good ol stomping grounds!

General arena for the city (basically replacing Pershing) and the University will be using it for basketball and possibly for marquee match ups in volleyball and wrestling (just rumors I've heard).

 
I noticed the sky cranes too, scattered all over downtown Lincoln (kinda looks like aliens attacking the city when I fly back into Lincoln at night).....any ideas what the others are for. I heard rumors of a few hotels going up along with some parking garages.

One is for a large parking garage that has a few floors of apartments on top and I think CVS on the bottom.

A new hotel in the Haymarket is another one I know of.

Thank Zach Wiegert for investing some major cash in downtown Lincoln.

 
It is really sweet, since I graduated I work on campus literally right next to the stadium so I get to update myself on the construction process every day!

 
Now if only Lincoln could build a 700 foot skyscraper.... that would attract a lot of people
