Sure would be nice to get all 5, or even 4. Kinda makes me wonder why they turned away Curry... maybe they spoke too soon.

I would be extremely pleased if we were to get all of those 5 listed, or even 4. I also think it's possible. We already are suspecting silent verbals from VV and Shelton, and Peat is ours to lose. If we can close on both Moore and Fuller, I will be one ecstatic fan.

I agree, huskershark. Seems like everyone think that these 5 guys are all on board. I still am highly doubtful on Fuller and Moore, though. I'll be glad to get one or the other...

I'm not all that worried. I would love to have them all, but honestly, it will be a pretty good class without either one of them. With that said, I can realistically see us getting both of them. However, if one of them does not commit, I would have liked to see either Ford or Curry in that spot.

I agree. I think maybe Bo & Co. made a mistake by telling Curry and Ford that there wasn't room. Then again. maybe they know more than we do. I'm still not sold on VV either, although I appear to be the only one.

I agree. It sounds like we are probably only going to get 3 more guys and that sounds lower than what we will have for scholarships.

Me too. If we get VV and Peat, as well as either Ford or Leggett, this looks like a pretty strong class for how small it is. Then if we can hang on to JW and somehow get DF on campus, this class is money!

Westerkamp is going to Nebraska! Why in the world do people think he's starting to waiver?

Thursday - do we get Curry? -- apparently not...Because we told him we don't have room

This week - do we get Cross? -- check.

Sunday - do we get Fuller? still up in the air, but looking good...

Signing day - do we get Valentine, Peat, Shelton, Moore, Raymond, Thompson, or Bourque? Can scratch off Bourque; he's Tennessee-bound...VV will be N tonight.

What now?? This was just a few days ago, when I was being dogged for my predictions. Highly unlikely to get Curry or Fuller; Raymond, Thompson, and Bourque are all scratched. But I guess I'm just being negative...

My biggest gripe was going for an in-house visit with Curry and telling him we might not have room. BIG mistake.

We did drop our recruitment on Curry due to scholarship limitation.

"When they talk about looking at numbers, they have to make sure those guys they offered early are going to come," Curry Sr. said. "If they don't come, that might open it up for them to take defensive tackles. If everybody comes, they might just take one. So that's where we're at on them."

So I really think VV is ours

As for Fuller, everyone's recent projections are strictly speculation. We have no idea what he's going to do. However, we do know he only gave us an 8 on his visit and that he loved his trip to Arizona. Infer what you will, but we won't know til 4 tomorrow.

Dunn told Scout: “He said (Arizona) was better than he thought. He liked it a lot."
As for Nebraska? “Nebraska has been recruiting him for a long time,” Dunn told Scout. “He likes that it’s a big-time football program and using him as a quarterback that way, it appeals to him.”

Obviously Shelton has told the staff he's N, but from what I've read on UW and Ore. St. boards, he's apparently told them the same thing. I hope we don't get screwed over after passing on Raymond Ford and Brandon Beaver.
