Looks like it. It will be interesting to see if we try and place him in a JuCo. I think his grades are the biggest issue so not going to school and studying for the ACT/SAT isn't going to do much.So is he our Braylon Heard/Charles Jackson of this year's class?
We went after Afalava because he was really good. A lot of schools shied away from him because he was most certainly going to be an academic casualty. NU was one of the few that was willing to take the chance to get this kid because he is really good. It is looking like we didn't win, but our belief in him and willingness to take a chance with him may lead to him re-signing with us after he does some Juco work or retakes classes.Looks like it.
