The most recent "dynasty" you could point to would be USC. At least, they were tabbed "dynasty" by all the ESPN puppets. I would say they did dominate the college football scene for quite some time. The fact they are located in southern California I think has a lot to do with that. You still hear about how great those teams were, even though the entire time period seems to be full of scandal and violations. Now that they are suspended and banned from bowl participation they are slightly off the radar. Just give it til' next season though, they will be back strong as ever. It will be all you can hear about, and ESPN will act like the violations never happened. Hell, guys like Herbstreit, Musberger, and Colin Cowherd still talk about them as if they are Gods, even while the punishment is being handed out to them. It's a sign of the corruption and money that has somewhat poisoned the game of football. It's sad that doing things the right way seems to be an after thought in the world of college football. It's all about results, no matter how they are attained.
