How instant can Peyton Manning make a team?

Since Manning is going to be let go let the bidding war start. I know Manning is a great qb but can he make a team like the Chiefs, Dolphins, Redskins playoff teams next year? I don't know how good the Colts would have been this year if had played. They had problems other than qb. The teams that will want him aren't a good qb away from making the playoffs. I think maybe barely over .500 his first year and playoffs next.

Dolphins and Redskins I can't see as playoff teams. To much other talent in their divisions.

If I were Manning I would be doing everything in my power to end up in San Francisco.

I heard this morning that a group of Cardinal fans here in PHX are planning on buying bilboard space to prompt the Bidwells into signing him...Who knows? with Larry Fitzgerald....and the Defense showing giant strides toward the end of the season??

No the repeated throws that were wildly off target call for a QB change if you can get Manning. The 49ers were not winning because of Smith he was merely serviceable for the one of the best defense sand running games in the league.

too bad Harbaugh wants to resign him. Plus ESPN experts are saying its a low chance to get Manning.

Alright. In my OP I said if I were Manning I would want to be in San Fran not that the 9ers should drop everything and pursue him. It would be the best scenario for him to win another ring.

Yeah but i think teams are cautious cause they don't know if they are getting the Manning of old or a new Manning. The main thing is he that he is 35 and just had 3 neck operations and the nerves are still fusing. Honestly i would only take him if i was desperate at qb.

Ouch. I didn't ever think Kolb was that special. Watching a Manning-Fitzgerald combo would be fun.
