2013 Schedule

No idea where Penn State will be, but Michigan will be without Robinson...likely with a Freshman/Sophomore starter.

I could be wrong but Michigan got a 4/5 star QB out of California for 2013. Yes, he will be a Freshman but supposedly he is lights out QB.

So I guess NU visits to Bloomington Indiana are going to be few and far between. Bloomington is the closest B10 site to me and it is easy to get tickets there.

There's a guy out of Michigan committed right now. They didn't sign one in 12, and a 3* in 11. They got Gardner in 10' who we've seen some of in the past. He'll be a senior - but he hasn't done much to this point. Very little depth behind him except this guy coming in this year who would be a true freshman. Gardner's no slouch though - I forgot he still had a year left. If there was depth he might redshirt to have 2 left.

UCLA lost to a very bad Illinois team in the bowl game last year. I don't see Nebraksa having much trouble with them out in Cali.

Easily looking forward to Michigan the most. I think that will be the biggest game for me each year from here on out. I had neutral feelings towards Michigan before joining the conference, but after playing them, interacting with their fanbase a bit on the internet, paying attention to their program and whatnot - I absolutely loathe them.

All I know is changing from tOSU and Wiscy to the likes of Illinois, Purdue, or Indiana should lighten the load immensely. Heck, even in subsequent years not having tOSU and Wiscy the same season should help preparation and results. If we show some improvement in 2012, which I expect to happen, 2013 could be lookin real good.

2013 and 2014 set up great for us. However....

So let's see if I got this straght.

In 2011 and 2012: We get Ohio State, Wisconsin.

2013 and 2014: We get Illinois and Purdue.

The odd team out in all of this, besides Penn State becuause they are our cross-over rivalry, is Indiana.

So does that mean in 2015/2016, when it should be a return of @Wisconsin, vs., Ohio State, @ Penn State...Where do they plug in Indiana in that? How is it determined Ohio State or Wisconsin gets left off that schedule for room of Indiana? Are we switching to 9 conference games a year in 2015?

I don't doubt the B1G leadership/decision making, I guess I'm just confused and haven't heard exactly how it will be done.

In the Big XII, minus any cross over, you could always count on a mix of: Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Baylor every two years, followed up by another two years of Texas, Texas A&M and Oklahoma State.

I'm sure they have it figured out but I have not stumbled across it yet.

The reason we got this is we were one of the good ol' boys. But being the new guy, we are now ISU or KU - getting slammed two years OU, TX and Tech then easing by with Baylor (pre RGIII), OSU (pre I'ma man) and A&M or some variation.

With unbalanced scheduling, I am 100% in favor of DIVISION record determining the champion, then common opponents, then overall
