Husker Basketball Recruiting Thread

Thats what I'm talking about! What a nice list of visitors. You get Nebraska's name out there just by them visiting and when they see the facilities they will spread the word! Great job by the staff!

Yeah, they are talking about Jahlil Okafor. This has to be the biggest basketball recruiting weekend ever for Nebraska. Even if none of these kids commit, the fact they gave us the time of day says alot about Coach Miles and Coach Coleman.

Chin is already pulling his weight and hasn't been here but two weeks now? Impressive.

The other "big name" making the trip as mentioned in the LJS blurb posted above is 2014 prospect, Paul White. He's a :star :star :star :star ranked 21 & 24 respectively by Rivals & Scout.

All of these recruits giving us a look seriously made me check my boxers, even if we dont pick them up, just the fact that they are in lincoln will have an emormous impact on future recruiting

Exactly, it's free publicity for the program and facilities. They come back from their trip and get interviewed...they will talk about the cool players that we already have, the tremendous academic support system, the fantastic facilities and what a nice college town Lincoln is!

They will also get a chance to mull over the fact that they could make a historical impact by being a winning dance partner with Nebraska.

 
Here's another name to keep track of Kedrick Nunn. He's not a spring visitor but he is in the 2013 super 60 at number 56. Nebraska is in the list of many schools.
