Agreed but sadly this probably is the future of sports uniform design. I fear its only a matter of time.

it's the 1929 uniforms in a modern style. Red jersey white oval on the front with a white N and red outline and light brown colored pants.All I'm seeing is a red XTHIS IS AWESOME!!!:
I like them as they are a futuristic yet a throwback look.

What do ya know, on Monday I passed by a poster my dad has with the '29 uniforms on it and thought now that would be a good idea for the new uni's and next day it pops up here. Either I'm psychic or somebody is in my head :huh:THIS IS AWESOME!!!:

Black may be introduced into the Husker alternates but at least its part of their athletics overall color scheme. Maybe not entirely in football but through other sports.
Arizona on the other hand is apparently introducing copper.

That is actually really interesting and could have looked great with the blue and red if it was properly done...which is wasn't. But I can see copper being a really cool trim color for a stripe on the uniform or some accent on the helmets and see it working really well with Arizona's colors.
But a full-blown copper helmet? #comeonman
