You can do that if you have a population base with that much talent and are the only powerhouse in that area. That being said Kiff, he gets my props nevertheless. I expect him to be back in the NFL eventually.

Many on the board talked about USC recruiting him as a back. He is the top rated safety in the country, so I would imagine they'd take him there and he probably knows he can go to whatever school in the country he wants to go to.

I heard speculation that he'd be used there. Obviously that's out the window now, but his inital offer from SC was for offense.

 
I think they accepted his commit because they know Sua is going elsewhere. I believe they have higher targets on their board at safety (Redfield, Goodman, Willis...)
