It'd be fun to shoot a Tommy gun sometime. I'm not sure where you could find one to shoot, though.

One of my colleagues has one. (Also has a BAR!) Beyond that sort of connection . . . the Bullet Hole in Omaha offers full-auto rentals but I doubt that Thompsons are included. I think they are Uzi's but I could very well be wrong.

I'm in Illinois. But I do make it back to Omaha once in a while. Perhaps I should swing by that place sometime. Pretty cool that your buddy owns a BAR. That weapon would be high on my list of guns to own. If I had $10k or $15k to spend, that is.

It would be high on my list as well. I haven't gotten the opportunity to shoot that one. I'd sure like him to offer, though. :)

 
I got to shoot my grandpa's M1 Garand. That was insanely accurate.

When I was little, I remember him dropping a whitetail with it, at about 250 yards w/o a scope...
