Ranking the Big Ten football facilities

2. Nebraska: Multiple Big Ten coaches and officials have told me how impressed they were with Nebraska's facilities after visiting Lincoln last year. A massive weight room is the highlight, but the coaches' offices, meeting rooms and locker room aren't too shabby. I love how everything is so well connected at Nebraska -- stadium to football HQ to practice facilities -- and the East stadium expansion will be another nice upgrade.
The Buckeyes were #1, with Michigan and Penn State "close together" at #3 & #4.

I haven't been to any other facility in the Big Ten. But if Ohio State's are better than ours, they must be pretty darned nice.

Minnesota has the nicest locker rooms in the country.. for that reason and that reason alone, they deserve 6 or 7.
Haha, they are very nice but i think that big bump is being generous. The practice (and surrounding) football facilities really weigh them down. I really enjoy going to TCF and have been considering getting split season tickets, gotta get my live football fix.

The Big Ten is awash in current construction zones. Nebraska is finishing up a $63.5 million expansion of its Memorial Stadium that will see the addition of 6,000 seats. Wisconsin has begun an $86 million renovation of Camp Randall Stadium that will improve outdated locker room, training and study areas. Iowa is in the first phase of a $57 million upgrade that includes a new indoor practice space and coaches' offices. Michigan State and Ohio State are adding new multi-million scoreboards to their stadiums.
And that's just football. Michigan has fueled an Ann Arbor building boom with all the projects it has undertaken in the past couple of years, which included a $226 million renovation of the Big House completed in 2010 and a current $14 million face-lift for the Yost Ice Arena. A major redo of the Schembechler Hall football complex is planned for the near future. "We're going to do a good job for the economy," Wolverines athletic director Dave Brandon joked. "We're going to be construction mode for quite a while."

They got #1 for the Horseshoe, the stadium edge. Their other facilties are certainly not better than ours.

That's what I'm thinking too. Rittenberg has made no secret that he loves the Horseshoe. He's also made no secret that he really doesn't like Penn State's stadium style. Our style is a mix of both so he's going to put the Shoe above.

The other stuff isn't better, it may or may not be on par with ours but it's not better.
