Do Husker Fans Give The Worst Advice To Visiting Fans?

Yes, it is a shock to me. :sarcasm

Normally I know that EVERYONE just wants to get "piss pounded" for two straight days
I'm glad we are clear on that. :D That is a unique list from someone that sounds older, and it's different advise from the normal "Eat at Misty's, eat at Lazlo's, go to the bars on O, make sure you have a Runza" list that normally gets tossed around. I doubt many would go to the quilt museum, but older folks, like my mom, would like that kind of stuff.
HAHA! I guess I just look at it as that list is for people that are DYING to kill time. If you are younger, O Street and tailgates, if you are a bit older, Haymarket and tailgates.

Chimney Rock and the Arch Way bridge are major to do's right after the Roller Skating HOF of course

There is also the German Heritage Society building on like 120th and Center.

It kind of sounds like people should not even go to the game.

I wanted to say that the person that made that list probably doesn't go to the games, but then I realized...it's the same person behind me yanking on my shirt telling me to sit down and be quiet at the game.

HA!

I got a good friend who has a father in-law who has season tickets and a sweet parking pass. Well, that old man gets into the parking spot 10 minutes before the game, heads right in and leaves back for Omaha the second the game ends. I am sure there is also lots of "hey, sit down, please" coming from him too.

OOO, OoOO, OOOO

sunken gardens, children's zoo, Runza, Lee's chicken and Holme's Lake submarine races.

And if you don't have tickets to the game - the chemistry bldg (don't know if East Stadium blocks the view now)

Nebraska football gameday is way too electric and exciting, no matter how old or young you are, to do that. What is it..7 home games a year? Got to take advantage of it. I probably take it less for granted now that I live 8,000 miles away and will miss my 2nd season away from Memorial Stadium (I was planning on flying to LA for the UCLA game, but our first child being born around Sept. 1st nixed that plan) so I always hope that everyone always has a full Husker football day in Lincoln as much as I remember doing it.

1) Sunken gardens...it is nice, but given the temps, has it turned into a pool of gelatinous goo?

2) Children's zoo...can't wait to take my kid there someday.

3) Runza is good, Lee's chicken is food poisoning at its finest.

4) I know nothing about the submarine races, what is that?

That is a great way to think about it, 7 home games a year, enjoy them.
