Who leads the team in receptions this year?

How many yards will the leading receiver have?

Abdullah was a true freshman. Likely the game will slow down for him this year and he'll be more effective. He was basically operating on instinct all year. With a full year under his belt and a greater understanding of the offense, he should improve.

I'm counting on it, but I'd still rather: put the ball in Bell's/Enunwa's/Turner's/Reed's hands, and let Rex take maximum carries in the run game

rather than: Rex take targets away from those four, and Abdullah get carries in Rex's place. So much explosiveness in our receiving core right now.

Can't disagree with you there. We have HUGE potential in that bold lineup right there. HUGE.

don't see this as a bad thing if you line up Burkhead as a receiver...just another wrinkle to throw the defense off. but I'd say its one of those things that you have to do in a limited capacity

Yup, this guy knows what he's talking about. If you have a slow outside linebacker, the matchup is there, so take advantage of it. I don't think he needs to line up like a receiver, just get out of the backfield and go on a route. In high school they'd roll me out of the backfield in the flats over and over, specifically to draw the weakside linebacker away from the play (we had a mobile QB). After the fourth time of this, I'd turn my route into a wheel route, streaking down the sideline while the QB circled back. Poor linebacker didn't have a chance. I think this could probably work with Burkhead, and definitely work with Ameer.
