Is there a way to stop botting without such a kind of authentication? Can they just limit votes per IP?

Listen, and understand. That bot is out there. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until Nebraska wins the poll.

 
What!!? It looks like espn inadvertently lost about a quarter million of our votes. Oh well. Maybe that large group of loyal Husker fans will again wake up in the wee hours of the morning and vote. :lol:
