I sign a lot of petitions through change.org. Not sure if it will help but it certainly wouldn't hurt to get some more signatures. You can share this on facebook too.
this is a shockingly serious issue, it is depressing, and it is unnecessary. why was the gov't so shortsighted with this stuff?
I can't believe I didn't know about it. I usually find all the concerning and depressing stuff on my own to get worked up over. As a parent who had a child who had to have an MRI to identify the fact that he had a stroke before he was born, this is scary. Definitely a serious issue and not worth getting upset about some balloons at a football game.

That was exactly the article I was thinking of. I am constantly thinking about it too when ever I see chocolate and tequila, although never together because that sounds disgusting. I learned so much from cracked while I was procrastinating during my 5 years of college. I eventually had to stop reading it because it just takes up too much of your time learning weird stuff.

Have you seen our government lately, I don't think they look much past tomorrow to be honest.

first, cracked is an addiction that i do not mind. i love it.

second, i suppose, but why would the gov't treat helium like a burden it had to unload?

Because for some reason people, especially those in the government, believe the government can't do anything right so everything should be privatized. Except the military of course...

I would guess if they actually understood the importance of helium they would treat it like oil and keep a national reserve.

serves us right, we elect idiots.

democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.

So you release two hundred doves into Memorial Stadium as the crowd erupts in cheers for the score. The doves get scared, crap everywhere, and now you have guano slicking up the playing surface - or the fans.

I'm going to pass on that one.
