Wrong, Danny O'Brien has played in 20 College Football Games. TerBush has played in 14 and faced Wisconsin twice.flatwaterfan said:

They do have a ton of Seniors starting but its not like that experience means much.
Wisconsin rolls Purdue fairly easily at Ade. I'm not worried in the slightest.
That's not to say that I don't respect the Boilermakers, I very much do. I have a book on Purdue Football signed by Joe Tiller in my den. My Grandfather grew up in Muncie and was class of '32. I like them, a lot... but UW will beat them, by a lot.
I suppose I need to elaborate. OBrien doesnt have experience in Wisconsin's system. I also don't like UW's head coach, because he's a jerk so I am biased that way. Do I really think Purdue is going to win. mehh. I'm just throwing someone's else name in the hat to make it interesting..

Toss up between Nebraska/Michigan.

I'm really feeling the kool aid this year. Just seems - different... Do I think all these players finally found the "mental" part of the game? No, not really. But I think we've adjusted the scheme accordingly and have fixed some of our more "passive" issues (lack of rush, lack of aggression, raising expectations).
I think this could be a very, very good season. I expect a rose bowl.
Would settle for a fiesta.
Would be pissed for anything less. Time to get over the hump.

We don't lean heavily on QBs and rarely do they shine or do we need them to, Wilson was an exception. Wilson had no experience at UW, look what he did...sure he was an amazing athlete with a high football IQ but I'd say Danny may have just as much potential; 2400 yards 22 TDs 8 Ints for ACC Freshman of the year in 2010.
He may not turn it up in 2012 but we don't need him to get 9 wins and will only need above average play in one game to get our third consecutive Rose Bowl. He's only a Junior, just wait for 2013... a learned O'Brien with White (2010 B1G freshman of the year) in the backfield. Wisconsin staaaaaacked. Big Ten f$$$$$$$$$$$$$$&@ed.

Actually I worry a bit about Minnesota in future years. They have a very good coach

I see a lot of people on here picking Purdue or someone other than Wisconsin or Ohio State. I would say that they are just trying to get a rise out of people. I would say that Ohio State is going to have the best record, but Wisconsin will be the representative in the BIG championship for the Leaders. I would like to say Nebraska for the Legends, obviously, but I think it will be Michigan if they don't stumble. I think Nebraska will definitely have something to say about it though, that should be a fun game to watch between Nebraska and Michigan!

I don't think Wisky has the D to win the leaders. Plus all the coaches changes will have some impact. It will be close, but no cigar.
As far as 2013 Wisconsin isn't the only team that will be stacked in 2013. Nebraska will be loaded. OSU will be back. Michigan is recruiting out of their mind. Etc. etc.

I don't agree.
UW had the 16th best Defense in the Nation last year and is returning much of its base along with Coach Ash, its engineer.

Defensive Tackle: Beau Allen, Junior
Defensive Tackle: Ethan Hemmer, Junior

I'm not worried about the Defense so much, at least not as a whole, the Secondary is the only bit that bothers me at times. Overall that side of the ball is returning a lot of great talent.
To me, the criticisms/weaknesses of the 2012 team are those which you've already identified, the biggest of which being coach turnover. We've dealt with it successfully before just not on this scale. Quarterbacks are another issue, I feel I've already addressed this in that it is not as large a concern at UW as it would be at other schools but it would be foolish not to identify it. Depth is also problematic here. After O'Brien its a mess of guys who are prone to injury or have O'Brien's experience issue.
The other two are kind of halfway weaknesses. Toon is gone but people forget that he wasn't our best reciever last year and that we would use him far less this year than last. The last is the Offensive Line which had some losses but is known for its perennial ability to reload.
To be honest, my biggest fear for this year is that we just won't have that spark. Last year, even when we were losing, I didn't feel that we were fully out except in the B1G CG because I was a horrible pessimistic fan that day. RW was able to ignite that team at the right moments. I'm not sure we will be able to replace his on the field leadership or pure athleticism this year and that could make it hard to win games if we're playing from behind. We'll see.
I feel like the Badgers have a lot of unknowns. They seem like the inevitable pick for Indianapolis out of pure circumstance. Will they win? Will they earn a record that would have guaranteed them a trip even if PSU and OSU were still eligible? They have the ability but I don't know. This team has the potential to go 11-1 or 10-2, they could also go 7-5.

I worry about the Gophers as well...not in football though, more in the sense that a neighbor worries about the house full of bald cult members next door when he sees them mixing barrels of kool aid in their backyard.
