Summation from classic literature: It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

I couldn't be more pleased with TM and the offense. Verging on too good to be true. But this defense got worse, way worse. How is that even possible?

1. Who replaced Taylor with Joe Montana?

2. With Rex down, all of these carries for Ameer may be blessing in disguise. You can see him gaining confidence as the game progresses.

3. What's with the receivers and their sticky fingers? I'm used to seeing a half dozen drops by halftime.

Just checking in at halftime, been watching NU play a bit on my other screen. Didn't see it all so I don't know what happened with USM's second TD but your offense looks damn good. Looks like Taylor's offseason work has payed off...I see Rex is out. What happened with that?
I believe they said a sprained MCL. Something with his knee.

Compton still looks as inept as ever...my god this team is in soo much trouble on defense...and special teams...which was supposed to be a strength...looks awful.

But hats off to Taylor, he is playing really well.

halftime nerves...sheesh

But wow Taylor looks great! and they werent joking about our receivers. Defense is giving me hives though.

Happy Football Season everyone! GO BIG RED!!!!
