Throwback to the 80's

I don't know about you all, but I was surprised to see our guys come out in white cleats. Considering the current landscape of college football and current fashion conscious mindset of recruits it was really refreshing to see because almost no one is wearing them anymore. Of course even the white cleats look a heck of a lot better now than they did in the 80's. Does anyone know if this was a one time thing or will this be the norm?

I agree. I have been wanting Nebraska to bring back the white shoes for years. In my opinion it just gives us a much cleaner and classier look.

But at the end of the day it really isn't about the shoes we're wearing, it's about the Win-Loss column.But if you're going to win, you might as well look good doing it. So I give major props to whoever in the Athletic Department that made the decision to bring this look back.

Although the shoes looked better than the 80s with the red trim, it still wouldn't be my preference if it were up to me.
