(Because Nebraska has to Nebraska, they list these guys as juniors to cause confusion when 90% of the other programs in the county list them as seniors.) I would guess 5 is the max we see come back because a) not many kids want to be in college for 6 years and 2) Rhule can tell them they don't have a scholarship anymore. Jeff Sims Rahmir Johnson Isaiah Garcia-Castaneda Bryce Benhart Turner Corcoran Ethan Piper Ben Scott Nash Hutmacher Ty Robinson Nick Henrich Garrett Snodgrass MJ Sherman John Bullock Javin Wright Tommi Hill Marques Buford DeShon Singleton Isaac Gifford Phalen Sanford Timmy Bleekrode Brian Buschini Let the guessing of who leaves begin based on who walks at Senior Day... 2 Quote Link to comment
Red Five
11 are out of eligibility. 24 on the roster as "juniors". 21 of those are on scholarship. 3 are walkons. 2 Quote Link to comment
Mavric
I have a bad feeling that Fidone will be on the list. 2 Quote Link to comment

I think, with a year of experience, he can work hard in the off season on what he needs to get better at and come back strong next year. 1 Quote Link to comment
Stumpy1
If he does leave, it would be a huge surprise and something he kept to himself. 2 Quote Link to comment
Husker in WI
Fidone referred to himself as "technically a freshman" to Rhule, so I don't think he's on his way out yet. 3 Quote Link to comment

Man, some of the idiotic comments about Fidone (including a couple right on this page). The guy is basically playing his first year of college ball after having to take two years off, and they're apparently pissed that he didn't make the Heisman finals or something? 7 1 3 Quote Link to comment

Yeah Fidone bailed out HH at least a few times on wild passes. He had a few drops but we also had a QB that could somehow overthrow his athletic 6'6" TE. He looks like a baby giraffe out there at times so I would be willing to bet he is only starting to get into his potential. 1 Quote Link to comment

Everyone understands that. The one area that I'm surprised at is his blocking. He really needs to work on that in the off season. 3 Quote Link to comment

chamrocck
We have a TE that is a threat in the passing game. We just need a QB that can pass the ball. Yes he needs to improve his blocking but so does the majority of the team. 2 4 Quote Link to comment
