Also, at the 32:26 mark there's a good clip of Fidone getting the better of MJ Sherman on a block. One of those things where as a fan of the team, you don't know who to cheer for more on the play.    :)

I'ld cheer for the offensive player.  Its nice when a good defense can get looks from the offense.

One thing I just realized is Rick Allen does the narration on these! NASCAR fans will recognize his voice from Truck, Xfinity and Cup Series broadcasts.

Allen was the second of two siblings. Allen grew up in Grand Island, Nebraska, and was a walk on for the University of Nebraska Track and Field team, where he was a letter winner all four seasons, a three-time All-American in the sport, winning two Big Eight Conference decathlon titles (1991–92).[5][6][7] He received his bachelor's degree of communications from the university. After graduation, he worked as a public address announcer for the University of Nebraska athletic department, and later at local dirt oval racetracks including Eagle Raceway, where Fox Sports found him.

Towards the end of this latest video, Rhule was talking to the team in the main meeting room. On the projector were three goals that he was talking about, and one of them was to be "The toughest team in football."

You gotta love that.

I don't recall Frost - and definitely not Riley - ever stating that kind of goal. Like, to actually make that a stated goal is awesome.

Here's to hoping that the 1's went against the 1's so hard during camp that the first three games feel like a cake walk. A man can dream...

Scott Frost: "I want a whole team full of guys who are tough and love football"

Oh I remember specific times where Frost commented on wanting to be more physical than what Riley had put together and wanting to see toughness, generically.

But I do think Rhule's mentality is on a completely different level as it pertains to actually practicing to the extent of really achieving the goal of being the toughest team in the country.

I know, I know...I'm analyzing coach speak. That will earn me two demerits!       :leghump:

Two more days...year two is where the talk ends and you see whether it sticks to the wall or not.

My favorite part was Rhule challenging them pregame to get the scout team guys in the game.  Then doubled down at halftime.

I was never much of a Matt Rhule fan before he was hired, but now I'm all in.  He understands what Nebraska football should be all about.

I also love the clear and consistent messaging throughout the whole team. It's a great example of what makes Rhule and effective and organized leader. Both Tony White and Satterfield before the game told their groups to win the turnover battle, be the toughest team on the field and to execute at the highest level. It was near verbatim what they told their respective units. Rhule said start replacing I with we and you have heard in a few interviews where players go to say I and correct to we. Clear and consistent from top to bottom.
