I remember coaches before saying so-n-so didn't play because the other guy looked better in practice.  People would get pissed and say, some players are just game day players and you just have to throw out there the best athletes.  I think that's total BS.  We are never going to get to where we want to be unless players take every single practice very seriously and practice like how they want to play.

I love our coach and the effort he's putting into this.

This was right after said fight.  They were supposed to be "thud" but someone got out of position and dragged someone down from behind.  Big no-no.  All hell broke loose.  What I'm not sure of is the call out to the seniors in that clip, or Jimari.  Were they part of it, or they weren't part of it, and should have been?

So, did he stop the scrimmage and say this, then start it again?

Without further context it's hard to say, but he did mention that the Seniors did one drive and then sat out the rest (up to that point) of the practice and then the BS started happening. So it might have been the Seniors not being as engaged as they should have been, which caused the sloppiness, which led to the scuffle.

I've watched everyone and I didn't like the voice over with the newest episode. Yes, it provides a little more structure to what we're seeing, but it came off as too Reality TV to me.

 
This is not Kool-Aid, but just a couple thoughts. We have all this talk about how good our pass rush is supposed to be this season.

Then we also have at least some talk about how Rhule practices more at game speed/uses more scrimmages than Frost did.

I'd have to think this bodes better for the preparation of our offensive line that has to go up against those guys in camp. The clip of Benhart working against Cam Lenhardt made me think of that.
