Mavric
I don't know what was up with the snaps yesterday but all of the sudden there were a bunch of high ones. I think that probably messed DR up, so I don't blame him a lot for this. But this is the kind of pass that a bunch of fans would have ridiculed the QB for if it were any other QB over the past dozen years. 1 Quote Link to comment

I like the idea on these plays but he throws off his back foot and doesn't get enough on it (again). That play should have been defensive pass interference but it was never called. I understand that we are 5-1 but going up against the Ohio State and the upper echelon programs the offense looks and feels stale to me and predictable. They want to establish the run and sprinkle pass plays in but Satt doesn't help the offense out by his play calling. I know that HV Matt Rhule won't fire a coach mid season but what about after the season. Is his play calling helping Dylan get better or hurting his progress?? Yes Dylan needs to improve himself with his footwork and other things but it's the OC's job to put him in the best position to succeed and I don't think he is even if he is a freshman. Raiola was his own worst enemy. At the least he was nothing shy of being greedy and bought into his own hype, needs himself a reality check. At the worst, point shaving performance. 2nd and 3rd down plays at our own endzone after the blocked punt he gave up easy completions. All game long he gave up the easy yards to force another pass. He made the OL look bad. 2 Quote Link to comment

You can tell he's aiming instead of letting them rip. Agree here. I think with the week off to get his bearings back, have some time to watch film and adjust, he will come come back for Illinois a bit better. I get a sense that ball security and no interceptions has been so ingrained on him from the coaching staff that he looks too unsure at times and is avoiding the out routes that are moderately covered but open. I don’t see him throw on the line enough to hit some tight windows as it’s too often the floaters (usually nice passes) that are getting receivers crushed a few times. I’d like the coaches to get in his head to play free and easy with his decision making and be a bit more aggressive early in the route tree Id also like to see him break a tackle once in awhile with the pass rush. He goes down way too easily. This isn’t to say he has not been good. Many of his throws have a been a breathe of fresh air finally and we are super lucky to have him for at least two more years with great things to come. But everyone has something to work on. 2 Quote Link to comment

That was a f#&%ing terrible pass and really bad decision all around by Dylan. Even if the LB wasn't underneath the coverage was tight and he threw it behind the receiver. Idk what the play and read were but the screen to the wide side would have got positive yards. Daylon will have his ups and downs this season, and it will always be better if we win. There's no arguing we have a massive upgrade at QB and a slight upgrade at WR but are still seeing similar results on the score board against teams we should be beating and manhandling. This was not your Daddy's Rutgers but we are a 3 TD better team than them and Starter field is highly sus as an OC. 1 Quote Link to comment

Is that a hybrid combination/Freudian slip of Dylan and Dayton? 😄 Quote Link to comment

Stone Cold
Should they fire anyone right now. No and its silly to bring it up. Lets let this marinate for at least 3 years before we start talking about staff changes. 1 Quote Link to comment

After the 5 previous games, he's earned the benefit of the doubt. IMO, this is his first interception for which he deserves the blame. Quote Link to comment
