Mavric
Rhule got flagged for yelling from the sideline earlier in the season. Day gets a warning for yelling, throwing his headest and bumping an official on the field. Seems legit. 1 1 4 Quote Link to comment
admo
You see, it's not that I do not like tOSU. I recognized they have had great talent and great teams. But now you see why I've been tired of this formula for more than a decade. Headquarters (B1G) + tOSU + Officiating as needed = get the win, get to the playoffs and represent. 1 Quote Link to comment
whateveritis1224
Don't have a screen shot, but the clear holding on Barney on the 3rd down where Raiola came up holding his shoulder. Barney breaks inside, there Safety grabs his shoulder to impede his progress and make the throw and catch much harder. 1 Quote Link to comment
chamrocck
I have seen the OSU DBs in other games and they are garbage. Very handsy and they get away with it. 1 Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
I think you mean "refereeing", not referring. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
admo
I don't have a screen shot to upload. 2nd Qtr Ohio State runs the Tush-Push QB sneak to convert a first down. I rewind it (thank you YouTube TV) to verify that their Left Tackle moved prior to the snap (false start). No call, No flag. tOSU converts the first down instead. The TV crew announcers didn't mention it because they were too busy rubbing Eddie George's butt and talking about memories. It was 3rd and 1 QB sneak play. But the Ball should have been moved back 5 yards for the false start that was never called. And It was the only third down tOSU converted in the game. Instead of a 3rd and 6, they get the first down. And the very Next play was a 60 yard TD pass. Guarantee those same officials call that a false start every time against anyone else. If I can see it, anyone can. It's the little things like that... SMH. But tOSU is a top 5 team. Even though I don't think they need the help. But in this case, it did help them. 1 Quote Link to comment
Toe
Who exactly did Ohio State refer to, though? Quote Link to comment
Crusader Husker
There is a fine line between bad officiating and crooked officiating. First time I though about the crew from the Husker-Penn State game in 1982. Maybe it was their kids. 1 2 Quote Link to comment
Savage Husker
Oh, are we allowed to finally address the elephant in the room? Ffs this has been going on for over a decade 3 3 Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
It’s getting to the point that something major has to happen. The conferences have millions to throw around. Every game should have an official watching from the press box (maybe they already do) but, this official has the ability to question anything. If he questions it, it’s reviewed and gotten right. And that’s anything. The BS offensive pass interference in the endzone is an example. That was truly F’ed up. Quote Link to comment
