krc1995
Any guesses on the new young guy that can help? Nelson? Coleman? 1 Quote Link to comment

The screen game as a whole was more of a mixed bag, and I don't know how to grade the checkdowns. 2 of our 3 negative plays were checkdowns, but so was our offensive TD. And it's like... let's be realistic with how much improvement we're likely to see in a single game. Obviously it wasn't improved enough - ain't nobody happy or satisfied with the offense's performance vs USC - but it's still improvement. Now let's see some continued improvement and consistency... 1 2 Quote Link to comment
GlobalHusker
I wonder if Raiola missing some of the open wr’s isn’t seen as an issue or if it’s because he’s a freshman. That’s probably the only one that’s been brought up on this board but not by DH yet. Pretty refreshing for me though. Creates accountability for both the coach and the players. Quote Link to comment

Nelson is a good bet because it's a two for one. A lot of people guessing Mekhi Nelson, Rhule shouted him out recently but he was still on the scout team. Would also fit that Rahmir Johnson role. Carter Nelson also feels pretty possible, he's technically been used but in a pretty limited capacity. Kenneth Williams is another speedy RB that has been shouted out before. Saw someone on twitter throw out Quinn Clark as a huge jump ball guy, but feels like we have guys who can do that. Coaches should make random comments like that more often though, it's fun for us to guess and hopefully not fun for Wisconsin to have in the back of their mind. 2 Quote Link to comment
admo
Holgo has the confidence and realistic approach that Leach had. He's a smart guy and tells it like it is, for sure. It's great having a new set of eyes, a different opinion and a strong voice... and I also credit Rhule for bringing him onboard. 3 4 2 Quote Link to comment
Lunchbucket
I like the way he approaches it. Dont want to block...sit your a$$ on the bench. It's a team snd that's your job at that moment. NO one just gets to catch passes. You gotta do your job. If its run a hard route to get someone else open or block you f#cking do it. This is simple pop Warner sh$t. Cheese and rice they lucky they weren't in the era where a couch would beat your a$$ until you understood 2 Quote Link to comment
admo
Would Westerkamp and or Stanley Morgan get separation against man coverage? I think we all would agree and say yes. Players on the field need to make plays, and beating press coverage is part of it. And it does affect whether or not DR sits in the pocket a bit, or looks toward his next read. But, sometimes DR gets gun shy too (throwing to the spot). So to me, a little mix bag that needs some more work/improvement on. Quote Link to comment
gossamorharpy
Finally an actual coach on the offensive side of the ball. It’s not a coaches issue or just a players issue this year that ails us, players need to make plays but coaches also need to not sugar coat s#!t and call out what needs to be fixed. love the accountability we’ve seen in 10 days from Dana that we haven’t seen in close to 2 years by this offensive staff 1 Quote Link to comment

The Dude
I guess I've never heard him speak before. It's kind of surprising how normal he is. He always seemed like a bit of a weirdo at a distance. 4 Quote Link to comment

Some people around here seem to reflexively blame the OL (and coach Raiola), but Holgo is pretty clearly putting more of the blame on the RBs. 2 5 Quote Link to comment
