The Sun Bowl has kept its relationship with CBS since the 60's. IMO it's a smart move on their part instead of getting lost in obscurity on the ESPN family. A lot of these bowl games have the feel of watching MAC games in the middle of the week. The Outback was on ABC because they already had a game on ESPN. That will probably be the next move, not having any bowl game at the same time so they can all be on ESPN.
