1,000 Yard Receiver Watch

Maryland had 281 yards passing and 431 yards rushing against the Illini a couple of weeks ago.  If we can get North of 550 yards Saturday, at least one of these 3 will probably be close to 1000.

 
Spielman needs 182 or 91 per game.

Morgan needs 144 or 72 per game.

Ozigbo needs 42 or 21 per game.

Ozigbo gets it next week. 

Morgan might get it next week. I think he ultimately gets it. 

Spielman....depends on how healthy he is now. 

 
Stanley Morgan is 3 receptions shy of the career mark of 181 held by Kenny Bell.  Spielman is 61 receptions short

JD needs 9 receptions to tie Marlon Lucky's single season mark of 75.  Stanley Morgan needs 16

Stanley Morgan needs 90 yards to tie Kenny Bell for Career Receiving Yards.  JD needs 115 to pass Terrence Nunn for 6th All Time

Morgan needs 3 TD's to tie Johnny Rodgers for Career Receiving TD's

Johnny Rodgers, Stanley Morgan, and JD Spielman are the only 3 Husker receivers to have 2 800+ yards receiving seasons in their career

We obviously can't always pass to Morgan this week, but I really hope that we key on him quite a bit and get him to that 1,000 yards. It would be a nice way to send him out. I think he would have been a little closer to it if the weather would have been a little nicer on Saturday.
