10 Minutes before Kick off

Before the first game I really wish they would play


before the kick off, even before the tunnel walk comes on.. Comments suggestions?

 
Yeah, I love that video!! Maybe they can edit it a bit for Gameday, make it a little shorter. That would really get the place jumping! I get excited watching all those good ol' day clips!!! Bring back the Blackshirts!!! GBR!!

 
I second that.

Brought a tear to my eye. Though i wouldnt edit it. Play the whole thing then have the tunnelwalk. I think that would not only get the fans fired up but the players also.

I keep having this daydream of former Huskers on the sidelines, and instead of "I play for Nebraska" The former players start to take the field to form the entrance from the tunnel onto the field as a video plays expressing what it has meant to have been a football player for Nebraska and what it means to be back in 2008 to see the New era. Towards the end of the video some of the key players like Frazier etc could say, "I played for Nebraska!", then they could start a Tunnel Walk that begins the new era.

Just an ongoing thought I have.

That just gave me goosebumps just reading it...can hardly imagine what I feel if they actually did it.

 
I am betting our players will be pumped anyway, along with the fans...now we wouldn't want them to wet themselves would we?

yeah i saw that too. i think its worth noting that Pedey wasn't really out to destroy the program or anything, just made some bad decisions for whatever reason. I suppose having been a former recruiting coordinater with osborne that he couldn't help but feel talent was the issue. There was a firesolich.com waaaaaayyyy before pederson actually did it. not that I'm some pederson fanboi or anything, quite the opposite, its just helps with perspective to keep this stuff in mind.

 
How would it be hard to hear? A good majority of it is music, and the few parts with commentary wouldn't be THAT hard to hear considering the stadium wouldn't be super loud during the video like it is during the tunnel walk.
