I have sources on the inside that they TO is retiring. I am also hearing Harvey will NOT to a public search. They are also saying TO to stick it out until Jan 1st

I'm a little surprised about the timing still. Why now, on a random Wednesday in the middle of the season? Gotta be more to this than they're telling us.

I was worried about that also, but I think it makes a little more sense from a preparation standpoint. Do a search, make a hire, then have the person ready to go Jan 1st, versus announcing the retirement on Jan 1st.

that is a good point. you can not do a national search and keep it a secret that TO is planning on retiring.

This, after Scoop Smiles butchered Rex's name on live TV at the football game, and tweeted that "Coach Osbourne" just announced his retirement 15 minutes before the official presser.
