12-Team Playoff On the Way; 14-Team to Follow

I thought most fans' complaint was about the lack of reseeding, not necessarily giving byes to the top4 conference champions.

I think the biggest flaw is giving byes to the conf champions. I like that the top 5 ranked conference champions are automatic bids but they should not get byes.

I wasn't happy that Texas got to play in Arlington. That's basically a home game for them.
The SEC Conf Champ Game has been held in Georgia every year since 1994.  Georgia has played in that game 6 out of the last 7 years.   They've won 3 times.  Plus, the winner of those 7 SEC Conf Champ Games went to the CFB playoffs.  Practically a home game since 1994 and all they have to do is make it to the game.

And yet, nobody ever "at least talks about it" or brings it up.

Well, if Nebraska was or had ever been in the SEC, something might be said. But alas, they are not. And since all SEC fans are fans of each other, no matter who wins they all win.

ACC considering not having the #1 team in the conference play in the ACC Championship Game.  It would be #2 vs. #3 instead.

Nebraska fans (including on this board) sure talked plenty about how the Big 12 championship game was always in Texas and not rotating with KC or something...

There's also the fact that the old SEC had most teams within 3 to 5 hours drive to Atlanta. Arkansas and LSU were the farthest at 10 to 11 I think.

Old Big 12, all the northern teams were a days drive away.
