1983 Nebraska vs Oklahoma

I didn't know that youtube allowed such long videos.

Nice flash from the past. I remember watching that game and thinking we had the MNC in the bag after the win. Sigh...

 
That 83 team is probably comparable to OU's 08 season. Great, great offense. Average to maybe slightly above average defense. That just wasn't enough to win it all. That being said all you guys had to do was kick a PAT and you probably win a national title that year.

That was a great game. Being a triple option QB in high school, I was a HUGE OU fan at the time. I'll never forget watching Tillman vault his way into the end zone. Simply amazing.

I'll have one really new OU/Nebraska game, the last one ever played last year. That will probably be the last OU/Nebraska game I'll post until I find all the mid 80s games 84-88. Just about all of those but one were really great games. Especially the 86 game which is probably the best OU/Nebraska game in the 80s. OU was down 17-10 the last 3 minutes and came back to win 20-17. I'm not really posting Nebraska games per say. I'm posting mostly OU vids. But I think OU/Nebraska rivalry is just so special. Especially in the 70s and 80s when practically every game was great defensive struggle that came down to a couple plays at the end.
