2 Huskers Leaving Team

247 is reporting it but of course its only for those paying. The photo shows Collins Okafur which makes sense. Any thoughts on who else it is?

 
J.T. Kerr apparently left the team back in the middle of the season, so this would be nothing new. Has Okafor been in the works for a while, too?

 
I may sound harsh, but losing Okafor is no loss, and possibly a move to gain another scholorship with so few availible for this recruiting class. The guy hasnt even been a special teams performer.

 
These names including the two mentioned above are no longer on the Huskers.com football roster:

Rfr. Andy Gdowski Walk-on DE from Grand Island

Sr. Brian Thorson Walk-on OL from Millard North

Sr. Josh Molek Walk-on DT from Skutt

Sr. Lester Ward Scholarship FB from Texas

 
Ward came in as a RB/WR. Was always a bit tall and lanky for RB at 6'3. I'm surprised he ended up at FB.

 
Whoever it turns out to be..................we ought to wish them well for always being part of the Husker family.....................

 
I was told Okafor chose Nebraska in part due to wanting to wanting to be a part of our Biology program since he had a 4.0 in high school and is apparently a great student. As a guy with a bio degree, I had classes with him too. But he never was able to contribute on the football field...I question whether he is actually leaving since it wouldn't make sense at this point with what, 1 year of eligibility left (?) to go play at a lesser school, especially when you're not going to have a future in football, and you're so close to just getting your degree

I thought I read that he's graduating this spring. Probably figures there's no point
