2004 & 2005 Comparisons

i think every opponent will be tough because they all want to stop NU's resurrection as THE Big XII North team. who wouldnt? If you were sCUm, Mizery, KSUcks, ISU, Ku, would you want to go back to years of getting your a$$ kicked?

Could not agree more. Every team is the toughest game we play that day. We have to put the 90's behind us and understand things have changed for every program. All will fight harder against Nebraska because they have seen the weakness.

Respect your opponents and understand that they are striving to improve at your expense. Never ever again count a game in hand until the final gun. We were spoiled by the Osborne years. We need to get back to them, but remember TO always expected a tough game from everyone. Nothing has changed. Always want to win and expect to be competitive but never ever again think that teams are going to role over and play dead.

We still have tradition, but we need the swagger back. BC is working on that, but it takes more time than some are willing to understand. I have seen enought this year to feel we are headed in the right direction. I have been on the BC bandwagon all along. No reason to jump off now!!!

 
i hear that skers. look at the kansas game, that just screams "overlooked" and it came to bite us in the a$$. I remember when we beat Mizery in 04 and i was listening to the post game interviews while i was harvesting for my family and I cant remember if it was Lekevin Smith or Titus adams that said "we cant look at the schedule anymore and assume certain teams are an automatic win." Sure we fans can do it, but if the team is doing it but doesnt show up to play that particular saturday we will have a lot more "Kansas" games in the future.
