2005 NU FOOTBALL RECORD PREDICTION

I think KU and MU are both in for a rude payback next year. If I'm not mistaken we play both in Lincoln.

it was light years ahead in making head way with the WCO and beating some quaility teams........5-6 vs. 8-4.....comparable???
If you check the stats from 04 to 05, they are almost identical comparing YPG and PPG. I think (I could be wrong) that NU actually had more yards and PPG in 04, slightly.

I wouldnt say that my statement was too far off the mark ;)
True on paper you may be correct, maybe, but what about BALLS -- this team had them, last year ....

Yeah, offense had less yards per game, about the same points. Defense gave up less yards and points. Special teams was marked improvement, and as Eric just said, this team had BALLS. So yes and no, you missed the mark. I don't recall you ever saying anything definite, just kinda dancing around the question and saying "anywhere between 2 and 9 wins."

Since everyone is attempting to pat themselves on the back, I'll give it a shot. I had every single game picked correctly, save for KU(I picked a win) and CU(I picked a loss).
