2006 Husker Defense

Green and Grixby will be better this year IMO. Practicing against a QB that can throw and WRs like we are getting can only help them along even further. I also think there will be more cometition at that spot this year, so they will need to step it up another notch. Grixby had a great game against Michigan, so I am not writing him off just yet.

I think that the D will be much improved this year and I cant wait to see them in action. I as well can't wait to see Octavian play a full game.

I wonder if Dillard is going to get more time next year. with the way McKeon played he might not see alot of time for another year. maybe he should red shirt........thoughts anyone?

Im going to say it. If this defense stays healthy ... it could go down as one of the best in Husker and NCAA history.
They have major potential. I know the season ended not so long ago, but this next season has a lot less question marks IMO. I cant freaking wait til next season. :horns2 :horns2 :horns2

word. and saying our defense will be the best in ncaa history is reaching quite a bit AT THIS POINT OF TIME. With the increase in caliber at all the skill positions its only safe to say that they will feed off each other's actions and it should help our players in the long run(lol oops). but thats assuming they learn from practice and drills.
