How is the worst defensive play against VT not the play where O'Hanlon got burned with less than a minute left?

Personal opinion. I didn't put it in there because i like how he chased him down to save the TD. It was just bad luck that after he sacked Taylor, that the next play Taylor made the completion.

I would argue that the best offensive play in the KU game was the first play where we threw the deep ball. Nobody saw that coming.
