2009

Is this their first year of making predictions? How accurate was their forecast? Is Kevin Cosgrove an analyst for this site?

Hey guys - we do not yet deserve respect. This just in - we haven't beat a ranked team in how long? Do we all see improvement? Absolutely. I believe we need to be able to beat a ranked team before we can actually be ranked (I think there's some logic wrapped up in there somewhere...).

probably their SECOND year??

from http://www.nationalchamps.net/2009/earlybird/index.htm :

Are we too early? Not quite.

The NationalChamps.net Early Bird Preview has predicted almost the same Top 10 the official AP Poll puts out eight months later in August. If you want to see what next year's 2009 Preseason Poll will look like, check out the Early Bird Preview. The process of selection is not that difficult if you know what pollsters look for. We give you most of that information now.

CONFERENCE FAVORITES

When the media makes their BCS Conference August predictions, here is how they should look:

ACC Atlantic - Florida State

ACC Coastal - Georgia Tech

Big East - Pittsburgh

Big Ten - Ohio State

Big XII North - Kansas

Big XII South - Oklahoma

Pac Ten - Southern California

SEC East - Florida

SEC West - Alabama

BEAT CLEMSON!!

has everybody seen the 2017 polls yet? its typical ESPN hatred. they have us losing to Iowa State, kansas, AND KState.

i figure i should put some of :sarcasm :sarcasm these :sarcasm :sarcasm here just to be sure

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the word on the street is that Cody Green is going to leave early after leading Nebraska to the 2011 National Championship and winning the Heisman trophy.

Why would UT be in front of OU? This is based on everyone coming back, OU returns 9 starters on defense, they only lose Holmes and Harris, and have depth at DE/DT and LB from injuries to English, Granger, Reynolds and Box. On offense they loses 4/5s of OL and lose Johnson and Iglesias, but return, Murray, Madu and two top five prep RBs in Calhoun and Johnson that were both redshirted. They have Gresham and Eldridge at TE, and Clapp at FB and Bradford and Broyles. UT loses both WRs, Shipley has to APPLY for a 6th year, why? He had a good year and should move on. Their RBs were nothing special. On defense they lose 3/4th of DL, which was their best unit, with Orapko, Miller and Melton all EXITING the 40 Acres. Based on this how could UT be ranked in front of OU? Colt fans forget his 17 INTs in 07 and his 20 something TOs. He is prone to turn the ball over and he might get on that tip in 09.

dude, you quoted UGA and responded with something that had NOTHING to do with what you quoted. If you think OU it gonna be better than UT, you just contradicted yourself.
