Heard has two favorites

Running back/defensive back Braylon Heard (Youngstown, Ohio/Cardinal Mooney) has also seen his scholarship offer total rise to nearly a dozen.

Heard has 11 offers including Penn State, Nebraska, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Michigan State, Akron, Maryland and North Carolina State.

When asked who he has at the top of his list, Heard said, "Penn State and USC are still my favorites."

However, Heard said the Trojans have not been in contact.

The 5-foot-11 and 170-pound Heard rushed for close to 1,000 yards during his junior season and intercepted two passes. Cardinal Mooney finished with a 9-3 record, but Heard missed a couple games with an ankle sprain.
