2012 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament

I don't think WKU would be the 16 to beat a 1, maybe Long Island beating Michigan State, but that's about the only 16 seed I could see winning this year.

Some upsets that I have in my latest bracket so far are:

Cal (if they win their play-in game) over Temple

Ohio over Michigan

Harvard over both Vanderbilt and Wisconsin

St Marys (should they beat Purdue) toppling Kansas

Ohio State and North Carolina in the Final Four with Ohio State winning
I could see the Harvard thing happening, they're tricky...I had to pick UW out of homerism but Harvard scares me.

I really like this year's bracket. Should be a lot of fun to watch.

Sweet Sixteen

--(1)Kentucky, (13)New Mexico State, (3)Baylor, (2)Duke

--(1)Syracuse, (5)Vanderbilt, (3)Florida State, (2)Ohio State

--(1)Michigan State, (12)Long Beach State, (6)Murray State, (2)Missouri

--(8)Creighton, (13)Ohio, (3)Georgetown, (7)Saint Mary's

It doesn't look good for the B1G this year.

4 seeded Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan are all heavy favorites to be upset in the opening round by 13 seeds New Mexico State, Montana, and Ohio.

Would be shocked in UK didn't just run the table like UNC in 2009. Anthony Davis is nearly unstoppable.

While I'm here, would anyone want to join me on ESPN and have a Huskerboard group?

Let me know if you want to join or if there already is such a thing.

If there is such a thing, I will join.

If Harvard can get by Vanderbilt, who has been prone to early exits to low seeds (especially as a 5 seed), both they and Wisconsin like to play a slow game, and Harvard has a defense that is Sweet 16 material. If they can make their shots, then they could get by Wisconsin.

I don't see Indiana losing to New Mexico State.

I think Long Beach State will get by New Mexico and a game to watch is Davidson and Louisville. That could also be an upset.

I like Creighton, but I would be shocked if they bet UNC.

Yeah. I just figured a #1 will go down early at some point and UNC seems like the most likely to me. It's definitely a wild prediction.

I have Kentucky vs Missouri playing in one semi and Syracuse vs Kansas in the other. I tried my best to find a way to eliminate Kentucky, as I despise their coach and team, however I see no way they lose against their bracket. Missouri would need to have an exceptional game to beat them in the semi. Kansas beats Syracuse in the other semi, making it an all (old school Big 8 final). Kansas vs Missouri in the final. I haven't decided on the winner yet.

If Harvard gets to the Sweet 16 or the Elite 8, Tom O needs to give Tommy Amaker a call to see if he wants to do a repeat in Lincoln.

I see Syracuse as a possible historic first round loser, if not they will be done before the Elite Eight.
