Ok, we have 14 commits.

Offense:

1 QB

1 WR

3 OL

1 TE

Defense:

2 DE

2 S

1 CB

3 LB

I see us taking 22 - 24 in this class. That leaves 8-10 more players.

It looks like to me we need to add to the class:

2-3 DT

1-2 RB

1 TE

2-3 OL

1 CB

Is this how others see this class finishing out?

 
I hope we are able to locate a JUCO safety that is worth a darn too. I would personally take all the JUCO DL we are in on. Johnson, Bradley and Hooks are all guys that can turn our mediocre DL into a force. With Johnson having a bum knee it would also allow us to RS him get him ready and then unleash him. You add those three to Gregory and you have one heck of a DL not including any of the guys we have on the roster currently. We do have a few solid Freshman on the DL but we definitely need to add some beef.

 
Will Jonathon Rose play safety or cornerback? If he's at safety, going after a JUCO guy might not be a big priority. I think Harvey Jackson will be fine in replacing Smith, early in the season I was kind of surprised he didn't get the job over Smith, actually.

And what position is Alonzo Moore at? I know there was some discussion about him maybe being a safety when he was signed.

 
Sounding like Rose may play safety next season. Newby also may be moved to safety as well.

So, if the list of who we will still get is accurate, who is left on our board that can fill those spots?

2-3 DT Collins, Bradley???, Someone we haven't heard of????

1-2 RB Newby

1 TE Vandenburg

1-2 OL Hinnant, Cochran

1 CB Joseph, Any hopes of Willis?

How does Dixon fit into this?

-Bradley's out of it. Deciding between Tennessee and Mizzou. Collins should be ours. We might find some last resort JUCO DT. (Hopefully)

-Newby should be the last running back if he's ours.

-Vandenburg seems to be ours but we can't be sure until he gets on campus.

-I haven't heard a lot about Hinnant because of his injury. But we might be in we might be out. Cochran is down to OU and us, i think.

-Joseph I believe is last resort. We seem to be in a great position with Willis, I think the staff is confident if they stopped talking to Hunt.

-Obviously going to take Dominic Walker at WR. Seems like the staff is looking for a slot receiver like Jeff Badet or someone else.

That should be the rest of the class. Doesn't seem to be anymore needs.

Willis (I agree, I'm more optimistic than some here)

Another guy I forgot about is Drake Martinez. Do we still take him even though we have 3 safeties?
