2013 NFL Discussion Thread

Go Steelers!

Need to win, and have all three teams ahead of us in the wildcard (dolphins, chargers, and ravens) lose as well. Not likely, but I'm holding on to a sliver of hope.

Word is coming out that the Browns might fire Chudzinski. Huge LOL at that, dude is maybe a top-5 coach in the league. It's incredible what he's done given how big of a trainwreck the whole organization is especially at the GM level. If I was a Browns fan, that would put me over the edge...I'd be done.

So the Wild Card games will be played in Philly, Green Bay, Cincinnati and Indianapolis. Only Lucas Oil saves some pretty cold weather games.

The Divisional Round games will be in Denver, Boston, Seattle and Charlotte. Seattle and Charlotte shouldn't be terrible but not warm either. Old school football.

Sellout Streak In Jeopardy.....

... at Lambeau Field.

Perhaps Green Bay Packers fans have little faith in this year's team.
How else to explain why as of Tuesday morning there were 13,000 tickets still remaining, according to a team spokesperson, for Sunday's NFC playoff game at Lambeau Field against the San Francisco 49ers?

The Packers have a streak of 319 consecutive sellouts (301 regular-season games and 18 playoff games) and nearly 100,000 people on their season-ticket waiting list.

Green Bay isn't the only team having trouble selling out for this weekend's games, with the Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Bengals also faced with thousands of unsold tickets.

The Colts, who have sold out 137 of their last 138 games, have "slightly less than 6,000" tickets they need to sell to avoid having their Saturday game against the Kansas City Chiefs blacked out in the Indianapolis area.

NFL rules say teams must sell out games at least 72 hours prior to kickoff to ensure they will be shown on local television. The league extended the deadline to Thursday at 4:30 p.m. because Wednesday is a holiday.

Packers, Colts and Bengals all have to get extensions from the NFL to try to sell out their tickets and avoid a playoff game B******. That's pretty sad for the local fans.

The NFL is thinking about expanding the playoffs? Talk of going to 8 teams in each conference. Do half of the NFL teams deserve to be in the playoffs? I say no

MOTHER OF GOD

Packers are lucky that Green Bay is located on the lake or it could be much worse
