2014-15 Donkey Bowl Contest

Hyundai Sun Bowl - Arizona State 36, Duke 31

Duke manages to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Mavric, Redmusky Thanks_Tom RR and C N Red appreciate their (lack of) effort.

New Era Pinstripe Bowl - Penn State 31, Boston College 30

Penn State gets a gift from one of the worst PAT kicks I've ever seen. Worked out well JTrain, JJHusker1, Lil' Red, Redmusky, MattyIce, StPaulHusker and GM_Tood (5 poitns).

JTrain is ahead of the pack with 72 points. It'sNotAFakeID isn't far behind with 67. Then the peleton checks in with eight contestants between 57 and 51 points.

Still over 200 points to be had. And a lot of big-point games coming up.

Updated Standings

Russell Athletic Bowl - Clemson 40, Oklahoma 6

Nice effort from Big Game Bob. Avoiding negative points was the name of the game here as the four picks for Clemson scored 0 and everyone picking OU got -2.

I love the spreadsheet Mavric put together for this. Nice! The format is quite handy. It even rewards the leaders by keeping them towards the left where their numbers are easy to find. The losers, on the other hand, must scroll past all the more successful entrants to find their numbers. As it stands I find myself scrolling quite a bit out towards the nether regions to find my picks.

I would ridicule you, but I seem to be moving further to the right every time I check. I'll be in that right column any day now. Doh!
