2014 Diamond in the rough

So who's going to be a diamond in the rough from this class? The unheralded guy who nobody is talking about that ends up being a star for us? Did we land an overlooked 2* who becomes a starter, or another walkon who turns out the be the next Spencer Long? There are probably half a dozen guys who could pan out. I'm thinking Byerson Cockrell could turn into something.

 
I'm going with Tolbert. He has a great frame and does a great job of going up after the ball and catching it in his hands. Could easily develop into a deadly red zone target.

 
I'll take a guess as Stoltenberg (sp?). He's a local kid who could play multiple positions. He didn't go to many camps and got hurt his senior year, so likely underrated by the recruiting services.

 
I don't know if I'd call Mosley under the radar, considering how much OU and Baylor wanted him, but I expect him to be a good one. Tolbert was my first thought as a guy that didn't get much hype, but has the body type to succeed at WR.

Not sure where I saw it last night but Mosley ran back to back 4.37 in front of JP to get his offer. I'll see if I can find where i saw it.

Saw that too. I think it was a story Pelini was telling yesterday. Said he would get an offer if he showed the speed he was talking about. I think that qualifies.

Okay Dev, I agree that Trai is probly going to shine for us. But diamond in the rough? Hardly. He's a fairly high profile 3* recruit. Got an offer from Oklahoma. Come on Dev. You know our recruits better than 99% of Husker fans. Throw us a bone. Need more obscure.

I think the Edna Karr trio will be the sleepers, they're all vastly underrated.

 
Gotta go with DeAndre Wills.

Seems a little rough around the edges but on either side of the ball kid could be a playmaker
