I am actually pretty surprised that Randy Gregory isn't one, considering he is the guy that will set the tone for our defense, along with Corey Cooper.

It's pretty rare when non-Seniors are voted as captains. I know Ameer was voted one last year, but that's not very common.

he's only been here a year. usually underclassman have been in the program 3-4.

Can't really think of an underclassman who should be captain based on all we've heard from camp.

Vincent Valentine & Maliek Collins. add in Gregory & maybe they won't even come out for the coin flip.

Haven't heard too much about them being rah rah guys. They've just been working at a high level, but I don't think I would call them leaders yet.

Also, just because a guy isn't voted a captain, doesn't mean that guy isn't a leader.

Frazier wasn't voted as a captain in 1995, mainly because he was considered a complete bad guy. But, I don't think anyone would doubt his leadership skills on that team.
