As of Round 7 - Pick 35, Texass got ZERO draftees !!!!P. Schrager @PSchrags 42s
Texas DE Jackson Jeffcoat was the nationally number 1 rated high school recruit a few years back. Still undrafted and on the board.
You can also add Saginaw Valley State and McGill, which isn't even an American institution.Add Bloomsberg, Furman and Coastal Carolina to the list.Per ESPN, Liberty and Lindenwood have each had a player selected. Texas has not.
Turns out they were set to draft Ryan Shazier in the first, but the Steelers stole him.GSG5545 said:I would have rather had defense too, but I still liked the pick.
Absolutely. He talked to the agents that gave them the advice and they were 100% certain it was good.I just heard on the radio that there were 100 underclassmen who declared for the draft and 62 were drafted. The guy on the radio claimed that as evidence that the kids are getting good advice. REALLY?
Would you say that?
I would say that if 38% of them didn't even get drafted that this is a pretty piss poor stat when you think those kids could have gone back to school for another year, worked longer towards their diploma while on scholarship and become better football players at the same time.
