That actually might be about how much though they put into a couple of their "designs."

I would say they over think it and try to make it "edgy" but forget this is Nebraska and half our crowd goes to bed after the 11am games.

 
I still say we go with modernized throwback uniforms as the alternates. A 1971 style uniform that is modernized would look pretty bad a$$ imo.

We can all agree that some fans, no matter what they actually look like, will hate them and rant about how horrible they are and they have decided this even before they are seen them.

Call me old-school, but can we all agree that we never should have opened Pandora's box on these alternate uniforms to begin with several years ago? The alternates they have used the past few seasons have been horrendous.

In my opinion these alternate uniforms are not necessary at a school like Nebraska. Other schools with less tradition...fine, but not Nebraska.

Throwbacks are a different category. I liked the 1962 throwbacks we did, and I like the idea of doing a 1970's throwback as well, but we should just plain stop with a new alternate year, after year, after year.

Is there a time for this announcement? I need to know what time to pick up my case of Oktoberfest and Jack Daniels Fire to get through the sh#t storm.

 
They're going to be grey uniforms with red numbers, and red stripes. Helmet will be matte grey with a red N.

I'm sorry that you are not smart enough to come up with brilliant ideas like I can. I know this stuff. I have worked in uniform design. All you do is post on a message board. Maybe you should try to get out of your mom's basement every once in a while?
