Heck of a player and even better guy. Anymore, he is known for what he said (or didn't say) but, he was one heck of a player.

And the Cubs are in thanks to Oakland late last night. Now do they limp into the wildcard game or get on another roll and make Pittsburgh sweat a little. 4.5 out with 9 to go.

Dear Pittsburgh,

I hope you enjoyed the preview.

Cubs are the first team ever that will finish their division in third place and win 94+ games.

What a hell of a division this has been this year.

22-6

1.77 ERA

236 Ks

4 Compete Games

3 Shutouts

.86 WHIP

OH, And one NO HITTER

Best post All Star ERA EVER at 0.75

Has given up 4 earned ruins since August 1

Has scored 3 runs HIMSELF since then

20 Consecutive Quality Starts

Personal bias aside, and mad props to Greinke, but give this man the damn trophy now.

Amen!!!!!

Max Scherzer. Damn. Second no hitter of the year. Finishes with a pitcher score of 104 for the game. Only, Kerry Wood with a score of 105 in his 20 strikeout game is better.

This is the most enjoyable thread to visit in this site.

Go Cubs Go!!!!!

Let's take care of business on Wednesday.
