2015 NFL Draft

"A versatile guy like Ameer Abdullah has great value," Kiper said. "He's showed he can catch the ball and make things happen after the catch. Go back to the McNeese State game. He won that game single-handedly with that incredible run (after the catch). He runs hard, he's got good balance, he's a great kid."

Kiper said Abdullah is a second or third-round prospect. That's not uncommon for top running backs in modern the NFL draft. Kiper compared Abdullah to current NFL running back Darren Sproles, who has had a long career as a back and a kick returner, and Reggie Bush of the Lions.

Both Bush and Sproles once played for the New Orleans Saints.

"A team like the (New Orleans) Saints, since Sproles left and Reggie Bush left, they haven't had that kind of player," Kiper said. "Any team looking for that Sproles/Bush type of player, Ameer Abdullah can fill that void and be a heck of an addition to your football team."

He could be a great qb if he clears up the oUT of game stuff. Easily the most pro ready qb since Luck. Just depends on if he can work hard (I think he can and don't much care for the guy) and if he can keep a clean record from now tIL draft time and beyond.
