(2015) PF Mike Edwards [Georgia Commit]

Right now, It is between the Husker, Georgia & SMU. It bothers me a little that he might go to K St., which means he is not completely made up his mind. Maybe waiting for a Michigan offer?

Georgia depth chart is pretty deep.

Michigan hasnt really shown a ton of interest... but they are waiting on a big time guy i think.

I like our chances, since he can play right away.

That is a bummer. Gotta think Juco route, but they wanted this kid.. They wanted him bad.

I like Miles but he might have some of the worst recruitment luck for getting big men....

Bigs are really hard to get...the great ones go to the Blue Bloods...The good ones get ranked in the top 75.

The rest are projects and can go either way.

Does he not want playing time because he could start on this basketball team and he won't start at Georgia. Now is a time of need for size so we don't get out rebounded every game so I wonder who our next guy we are after is?

Put the full court press on landing the big man transfer from providence. I haven't heard of any other big guys we are on right now.

Sad thing is they supposedly put the full court press on this kid as well.

I think that providence transfer has some red flags (I think, but I am not sure if it is the same kid)

But, guys, you are looking at this with Husker Glasses on...

He has red flags all over the place.

But it is only for 1 year and an area of need.

That being said, not sure if he would want to come to NE.

I do think if i was a grad transfer, i would give NU a sniff for the simple fact you are going to get a lot of playing time with some talent around you.

A big who can play back to his basket and get some boards would be able to put up some nice numbers here.

Yeah the Providence transfer is Tyler Harris brother of Tobias Harris who currently plays for the Orlando Magic. Tyler is 6'9 and he attempted 77 threes at providence so he would play on the perimeter more, but have to develop a post game of some sort. Another target we are after according to 247 sports is Juco big man Brandon Walters who is 6'9 as well but he plays more in the post I believe so either of these guys I would take for depth.
