Looks like the new staff and maybe the old staff as well is doing their job. GBR!

So, does the mean the old staff can't assist with recruiting? If that is the case, would Warren be considered part of the new staff?

It sounds to me like you can have up to the set number at one time. As if there is a list of who can be engaged in recruiting. If that's the case, I would think we'd remove an "old" coach each time we add a new coach.

Not sure on that but it's what it sounds like from that description.

That being said, I doubt if the old staff is doing much recruiting. It would be kind of odd for them to still be calling. I would think recruits would want to hear from the new staff.

Apparently Bray needs to get ahold of Kyahva Tezino. Rivals four-star LB from LA but he's looking at Washington State, San Diego State and Colorado. I think he can do better.

Now, with Courtney Love transferring officially, we are going to be paper-thin at LB going forward. Who is on the board at LB for this class (keep in mind, we now need to consider recruits with Oregon St offers)?

Need to get the new staff in touch with Dedrick Young. Has been very interested in NU for some time. Same with Saleem Brightwell. We were picking up some interest in November.

I don't see a lot of possibilities on the OSU offer list.

not sure if I hope so or not.

but if he does turn a pretty big name QB recruit after the dead period... that would tell me someone on the staff watched some tape and wasn't sold...

I wouldn't mind a QB recruit, just not a pure-pocket guy. Look at the top 20 teams, maybe 4-5 use pure pocket guys. It's not what wins anymore. Now a pass first with some mobility, JT Barrett/Blake Sims style would be great.
