***2015 Recruiting***

Internet speculation on how many commits we'll take by position - looking at 16-20 in this class:

QB - 1

RB - 1 (Bussey currently committed)

FB - Chandler Cox or none

WR - 2-3

TE - 0-1

OL - 3-4 (Gaylord committed)

DL - 3-4

LB - 2

DB - 3-4 (Lee and Anderson committed)
Different set of projections:

QB: 1

RB: 1

TE/FB/HB: 1-2

WR: 2-3

OT: 2

OG/OC: 1-2

DT: 2

DE: 2

LB: 2-3

CB: 2-3

S: 2-3

Speculation this class could be as high as 23. With only 11 seniors and only two RS juniors that have been passed by by unnderclassmen (Pirman & Sutton), I'm not sure how they can come up with that many more. Attrition is one thing but that would be 12 or so which is extremely high. You could say Gregory will leave early and with six RS Juniors on the OLine we could lose a couple more there if they aren't getting it done and maybe Kevin Williams if he continues to get hurt. But all that still only gets to 17. Except for the two OLinemen, all this year's sophomores played last year as freshmen.

Maybe we are joining the SEC.

We are recruiting the south like we are already there (~little over 50% of our offers are in nine southern states).

Rivals Camp Series@RivalsCamp 16m

#Rivals100 LB Cameron Smith has a leader emerge -- details the latest at #RivalsCamp (FREE) http://bit.ly/1g39a3L

#98 Overall per Rivals and #5 ILB. In the interview, he says USC is his leader and is also interested in Penn State. When asked about other schools he's interested in, he listed Nebraska along with Michigan, Oregon and UCLA. Interesting that none of the sites show he has an offer from us.
Smith did an interview about ten days ago and said he wants to take a bunch of spring and summer unofficials (hoping to visit several for spring games). When asked which, he listed Oregon, Arizona, USC, UCLA and Nebraska. Dude is a sledgehammer and tracks the ball carrier well.

If Decker is this year's Foster, Matt Clark and Adam Holtorf may be this year's Stoltenberg. Coaches have told both to come to camp so they can evaluate how each have progressed from their junior years, and offers could follow after that.

With Decker guessed to commit around BRW, an offer to either Holtorf, Clark, or both could make for a surge of in-state commitments at BRW.
